Week 11 ACC & Big 12 Recap:Oklahoma Upsets Baylor, North Carolina Dominates Again

#12 Oklahoma defeated #6 Baylor, 44-34

The Sooners (9-1, 6-1 Big 12) snapped the Bears’ (8-1, 5-1 Big 12) FBS-best 20-game winning streak, and handed them their first home loss since 2012. QB Baker Mayfield threw for 270 yards (24-34) and three touchdowns, while Samaje Perine rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Oklahoma held Baylor to just 416 total yards of offense.

 

#16 Florida State defeated NC State, 34-17

Dalvin Cook ran for two touchdowns and Sean Maguire threw for two more as the Seminoles (8-2, 6-2 ACC) erased an early deficit to defeat the Wolfpack (6-4, 2-4 ACC). Trailing 17-7 at the end of the first quarter, Florida State scored 27 unanswered points the rest of the way. Cook added 138 yards rushing to his season total, setting a new school record for rushing yards in a single season.

 

#23 North Carolina defeated Miami, 59-21

The Tar Heels (9-1, 6-0 ACC) dominated the Hurricanes (6-4, 3-3 ACC) from start to finish to earn their ninth-straight victory. QB Marquise Williams ran for 101 yards, three touchdowns, and passed for another, while Ryan Switzer added a 78-yard punt return.

Louisville (6-4, 5-2 ACC) defeated Virginia (3-7, 2-4 ACC), 38-31

Texas Tech (6-5, 3-5 Big 12) defeated Kansas State (3-6, 0-6 Big 12), 59-44

Virginia Tech (5-5, 3-3 ACC) defeated Georgia Tech (1-6, 3-7 ACC), 23-21

West Virginia (5-4, 2-4 Big 12) defeated Texas (4-6, 3-4 Big 12), 38-20
