[vc_row][vc_column width=”5/6″ offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-1″][vc_column_text]

The first conference game of the season took place on Thursday when Cincinnati (2-0, 1-0 Big East) ran away from Pittsburgh (0-2, 0-1 Big East) at home in Nippert Stadium. Our scouts were in attendance and described the atmosphere as “electric.”

Syracuse (0-1, 0-0 Big East) has to recover from a heartbreaker against Northwestern in Week One, but the road doesn’t get any easier. The Orange stays close to home to host No. 2 USC (1-0, 0-0 Pac-12) at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey..

After crushing UMass in their opener, Connecticut (1-0, 0-0 Big East) hosts NC State (0-1, 0-0 ACC).

In another ACC/Big East showdown, Temple (1-0, 0-0 Big East) hosts Maryland (1-0, 0-0 ACC) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

USF (1-0, 0-0 Big East) travels out west to meet a Nevada (1-0, 0-0 WAC) team that upset Cal in Berkeley last week.

Two Big East teams host Football Championship Subdivision opponents this week: No. 23 Louisville (Missouri State) and Rutgers (Howard).
